Simon McGovern was at Impact Martial Arts Truro on the 8th Jan to teach a submission grappling workshop.
The workshop ran from 10am-2pm and covered various areas including;
- Take downs, double and single leg
- Attacking the turtle guard
- Back defence
- Chaining submissions

We were also delighted to be his first workshop as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BLACK BELT, as he was awarded it the day before by his teacher Lucio "Lagarto" Rodrigues. A huge congratulations once again from us all at Impact Truro.

We look forward to having him back on our mats very soon for more fantastic tuition.
